Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) will be moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. After the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details will be sent to registered users of the LOR. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform (link is external).

They are rewarded by their teacher for making progress or demonstrating good behavior with experience points (XP).

Office Lens allows the user to take a picture of a photo, document, or whiteboard. Then, the image is processed so that text can be seen clearly and can easily be exported into a OneNote or many other Microsoft Applications (OneDrive, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), saved as a PDF or image or sent in an email.

Engage students in a scavenger hunt where they can use phones or tablets (mobile app driven) to capture photos and videos proving they’ve solved one of the riddles. All artifacts get collected to a common dashboard for review. Students join teams and compete for points! Great for getting students to engage in teams with the world around them. Use this on field trips to engage students with what they see in a museum, the zoo, etc.
