Unit 0 is a four-day introduction to English 9 A and orientation to both SSR and the course’s blended format. The blueprint breaks the unit down by day featuring an agenda for each day and linked resources for each activity, including face-to-face and online lessons.

This unit is focused on figurative language, covering common core standards in language, literature for reading, and speaking and listening with the final assessment. It is designed to be used with a workshop model, where there is some form of opening for brief instruction, partner and/or independent work time, and a closing time for sharing within each lesson.

In this unit, students will explore how the worlds of America, Africa, and Europe are alike and different. They will also explore how and why the three worlds met, and how Europeans, American Indians, and Africans view the meeting of their three worlds.
This unit engages students in a variety of different reading standards through face to face and online components. In this unit, students will practice many skills to aid them in reading and understanding nonfiction texts.

In this blended learning unit, student will explore the U.S. Government from the Articles of Confederation through the writing of the Constitution. Students will be able to recognize the reasons why the founding fathers included the ideas and principles in these documents based on historical perspectives.

In this unit students explore the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Through a lesson on the Bill of Rights, students learn how government affects their daily lives by identifying situations in which specific rights are involved. They also explore why rights have limits and the relationship between rights and responsibilities.
This Reproductive Health unit is designed for 7th grade students and covers a wide range of lessons including friendships, relationships, values, puberty, anatomy, legalities and more. This curriculum is abstinence-based as approved by the district Reproductive Health Committee as well as the Board of Education.
Students will be able to solve a system of equations using substitution, elimination and graphing techniques. Primary focus is on linear systems with two variables. Exploration is on systems involving quadratics, linears and circles with graphing.
