Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. I am looking for new ways that blended learning can be used to teach French so I decided to create a blended unit on French weather. This unit is designed to be used in a beginner level French course to introduce vocabulary and to draw comparisons between the weather of France and other countries.

As a middle school English Language Arts teacher I look for creative ways to assess student learning.   I believe that if a student can teach a concept to his/her fellow students then I know that they have mastered that new knowledge.  In this blended learning unit students will become the teacher and teach a literary device using a presentation tool (Screencast-O-matic).

Hi fellow teachers! I decided to create a blended unit plan for 3rd grade Science: Fossils. We rarely have enough time to truly devote instruction on Science topics and I really feel it's vital and shouldn't be skipped. Therefore, I am looking for more ways to integrate science instruction into ELA and Math time periods.
