This is a unit that was created for an advanced Algebra 1 course during the statistics set of standards. This plan is a mix of in class presentation and use of online tools to get a better understanding of representing data with plots in the number line. Students will research and construct virtually dot plots, histograms, and box plots.

In 6th grade Statistics and Probability, students will learn what Good Statistical Questions are, Measure of Center (Mean, Median, Mode) and Measures of Variance (Range, Quartiles and Inter-Quartiles).
Students will be introduced to the basics of finding the Measures of Center and Variability. The will learn the vocabulary needed to understand the objectives, practice finding the Measurs of Center and Variability, and interpreting what the data means.
This is a mini unit on Experimental Probability. Direct instruction is still built into this object for face to face classroom time. There are videos that are interactive and allow for the students or teacher to walk through 2-3 examples for each lesson.
