This is an outlined unit of Romeo and Juliet. Many of the activities can be placed online (Prezi) to achieve the same success. There's an abundance of Quick Writes and Focus Questions that I didn't specify in the unit. These too, can be placed online for blended learning.

In this unit students will be exposed to a variety of non-fiction texts. Students will learn that non-fiction texts are an avenue for readers and writers to convey information through text. Using shared reading, guided reading and independent reading, students will experience how readers access and process information about a topic.

Office Lens allows the user to take a picture of a photo, document, or whiteboard. Then, the image is processed so that text can be seen clearly and can easily be exported into a OneNote or many other Microsoft Applications (OneDrive, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), saved as a PDF or image or sent in an email.
