Google Forms is a piece of the G Suite for Education that can be utilized for surveys, formative assessments and even summative assessments. 

Gradecam is a grading scanning App that enables a document camera, phone or webcam on your computer scan and automatically breaks down the results of short multiple choice and even short answer assessment. It even allows for teachers to use its assessment program in order to build online virtual quizzes that are auto-scored.

Students will use Skype to connect with individuals that work in the IT industry. Students will research related career fields to gain a basic understanding to guide their conversations. Students will chat with industry members and create a blog that highlights what they have learned.

I envision this being used in a self paced, blended, rotation setting, where students switch between learning lessons online and trying them out real life on the robot.  This is the first unit in my robotics course.

WeVideo is an online video editor that students and teachers can use to capture, create, view and share movies. It is a good alternative to iMovie for non-mac devices and access from shared devices in general.

Students will learn basic coding skills using ipads, osmos and ozbots and following up on code.org.

Office Lens allows the user to take a picture of a photo, document, or whiteboard. Then, the image is processed so that text can be seen clearly and can easily be exported into a OneNote or many other Microsoft Applications (OneDrive, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), saved as a PDF or image or sent in an email.
