Students will explore clothing vocabulary and local currency of Spanish-speaking countries. Through Total Physical Response, Kahoot!, and various games, students will learn and practice use of vocabulary such as: pantalones, camisa, zapatos, gorro, botas, bufanda, sombrero, sueter, chaqueta, sandalias, traje de bano, gafas, etc.

In this unit, students will learn about how energy is transferred during a car accident. The students will then have to design a vehicle restraint system to protect a  “passenger” in a collision. This unit is aligned with the fourth and fifth pages of Essential Elements 2000 Violin Lesson Book 1.  The lesson is divided between online and classroom activities.  This unit would be appropriate for the beginning violin student.
