This is a unit plan for a Japanese language classes on greetings for grades 7-12. The online tools and resources listed in this unit plan is to supplement an online learning class. Because the online learning units and assessments are fixed, these supplemental tools are incorporated as optional resources for students. The purpose is twofold:

Canva is a web-based program that you can create posters, presentations, blog graphics and more. It is very user-friendly, as it puts you through an instruction presentation from the start and you can used pre-designed formats/templates to make creation simple and quick!

This is a tool that functions like a mail merge. You can set it a rubric in a google form, and the results will publish to a Google Sheet. You can then set up mail merge fields in a Google Doc feedback report to students. You can set it up so that once you complete the form rubric it automatically emails the report to students.

Google Apps for Education allows you to collaborate on documents, slide decks, and spreadsheets. It’s a great tool for having students work together on a presentation or a document where they each add their own thoughts.
