I have used other blended learning website in the past to help me organize students work and to share lesson but those tools often require students to log in.  I decided to make sure all my resources are in one place because it allows students to move onto the next activity in the lesson, every easily.  I have not used Google Tools with students in the past but I figured that Google tools are being used so much in the classroom that I would give my kindergarteners with special learning needs more experience using tools that they most likely will use in the near future and beyond.  I also decided Google Slides would be a good tool to use because I can paste in images of what their activity should look like once they get there.

    I also wanted to make this tool friendly for students that can’t read or have reading difficulty by using icons to let students know what they will be doing with the tool today.  If I use these icons consistently, in other blended learning tools I create, my students that have reading difficulty will know what they are expected to do when interacting with the next activity.

    My kindergarteners really enjoyed this lesson.  They had fun watching the videos and even danced at sang along quietly with the first video.  They really liked the games in this lesson.  I think next time, I will demonstrate each game briefly as a group and then have them practice using playing the game once they get to their blended learning station.
