Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform (link is external).

Create and Manage MS Word documents


The Microsoft Word 2013 Essentials course shows you how to create documents using templates; customize your document using themes, page layouts, and tables; add images and multimedia to your document; work with document revisions; and protect and finalize your document. Topics covered in this course include: Working with Templates Using Document-wide Settings Document Navigation Page Layout Options Using and Modifying Tables Inserting Images Document Review and Revisions Formatting Paragraphs and Line Spacing Controlling Content Flow Background and Watermark Working with Video Working with References Using a Table of Contents Protecting a Document Printing Documents.

This part of the lesson we will focus on Creating and Managing a document.

The procedure will be for students to complete the online course as their own speed.
Will meet in classroom for further demonstration on a classroom overhead.
Students will complete the attached Beaver Mountain Bike Report to demonstrate their knowledge gained.
