Impact of Political Parties by Decade
Description:
This will be a culminating project for your students to show political party impact by decade.
Assign your students a partner and have them choose one of the two main parties and prepare a google slide show that shares one or two key issues that the party was tackling that decade and one or two key figures from each decade from 1950 on. One slide for each decade, so one for the 1950's, one for 1960's, and so on. Keep the issue brief and limit them to a few bullet points per decade and a picture or two of the key figures of the decade for that party.

Realize that one party often dominated the policy of a certain decade
Familiarize yourself with key figures in the Democratic or Republican party throughout the last decades
