Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform (link is external).



These are two lessons from a larger unit on WWII, each lesson could take up to 2 weeks. The first lesson is about events leading to WWII and the second one is about WWII propaganda and war strategies. These lessons incorporate a variety of face-to-face as well online activities. Additional readings such as jigsaw activities, graphic organizer and propaganda posters are also included at the end of the lesson.

Analyze the factors contributing to World War II
analyze clips of Hitler’s speeches and discuss what made is a good public speaker.
Discuss political systems and create a poster about a political system
Analyze propaganda posters from the time and create their own propaganda poster to convey a message.
Analyze public opinion polls.
