To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. ## Compare and Contrast (Shemya Doster)

The purpose of this unit is for students to learn and understand how to compare and contrast. In the opening of the lesson a video will be shown to engage learners on the definition of compare and contrast. The students will see a visual of using a venn diagram. Throughout the unit, learners will have an opportunity to use online venn diagram and create their own.

## Algebra - Ch. 10 - Polynomials and Factoring

In this chapter, students will learn to add, subtract, multiply, and divide polynomials using a couple of different methods.  Students will also learn how to factor binomials (standard and special products) and trinomials and solve quadratic equations by completing the square.

## Algebra II: Equations and Inequalities

## Nigeria: A Country of Many Cultures

With some 250 ethnic groups and over 450 linguistic groups, Nigeria can be a challenging country to understand. By dividing the country into three broad cultural regions, however, students can make generalizations about the diverse physical environment, ethnic groups, culture and economy of Nigeria.

## Skype Career Exploration
