Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform.

distributive property

Students practice the distributive property with variables on both sides.  They make a recap of a given problem.  Students must discuss with their group how to do the problem and then use appropriate math language as they complete the problem.

This is a 2-3 day blended learning activity/lesson on multiplication designed for 3rd grade.  It can be turned into a unit of study very easily.

This resource is a blend of traditional and online teaching and learning. Teachers are able to access online intro videos to introduce students to the distributive property and order of operations, this will aid those students who are visual learners. Tutorial videos are also included in my plan, for students who need some intervention.
