Supplementing Partial Quotient Division Instruction in EveryDay Mathematics

After teaching the Everyday Mathematics program for years and observing that students struggle with partial quotients long division, I realized the need to create a multiple day workshop on partial quotients division.  By the end of the workshop,  students will master dividing a four digit number by a one digit number using the strategy of partial quotient division.

First Grade: Addition and Subtraction Fluency Strategies

Math Fact Fluency Practice
