Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform.

In grade 2 of the PYP, within the unit of "Who We Are" the students look at mindfulness. A large part of this unit is spent on the differences of healthy and unhealthy food. Additionally, students explore what it means to live a balanced lifestyle.

This unit is for educators looking for alternative behavioral and classroom management techniques.  This unit focuses on using the practice of yoga as a means for self-regulation and potentially conflict resolution.  Participants will be exposed to some of the basics of yoga and how to integrate it into an educational setting to potentially improve student behavior and achievement.

With H5P, authors may create and edit interactive videos, presentations, games and more. Content may be imported and exported. All that is needed to view or edit H5P content is a web browser. 

InsertLearning allows educators to insert youtube videos, questions, discussion boards, highlights and annotations onto any webpage. 

TodaysMeet is an online tool that allows for digital discussion.

Buncee is a tool that allows teacher and students to create! Buncee's platform allows for creation of interactive digital content. 

Pixabay provides more than one million royalty free images. 

Wakelet allows you to curate links, posts from Twitter, images, items saved from your computer, or text. 

Timeline JS allows teachers or students to create a timeline with links to images, articles and videos that can easily be embedded into a site or shared with a link.
