Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform (link is external).

    This tool will be used to help support students understanding of adding and subtracting within 10.  The teacher will work with students in small groups with hands-on manipulatives modeling and practicing adding and subtracting with the students while the rest of the group will be working on their blended activity online.

A Mastodon is Not a Dinosaur! is an arts integration project that infuses fine arts projects into the core curriculum subjects of science and literacy.  This project was designed for a Young Fives (pre-K) classroom.  This blended learning resource focuses on gathering information about the following Ice Age Mammals: American Mastodon, Woolly Mammoth, Saber Toothed Cat, Giant

This is blended unit that is set up for a four- and five-year old preschool program (Great Start Readiness). The unit will take roughly three weeks to complete and is aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
