Dear LOR user,

Thank you for being a big part of this community. To better support the initiatives around open educational resources in the state of Michigan, all resources on the Michigan Virtual Learning Object Repository (LOR) are being moved to #GoOpen Michigan (link is external) on September 30th, 2018. During the transition, our LOR will be moved to an archived state, not allowing new user registration or new content to be added. An email with more details was sent to registered users of the LOR in September. To make use of the great resources on the platform, we encourage you to create an account and add your own new resources to the #GoOpen Michigan platform (link is external).

Google Classroom is a learning management system designed to integrate seamlessly with Google Docs and Drive. It allows teachers to assign homework, easily share documents, hold discussions, and share links.

This presentation is in Google sheets form and allows students to demonstrate their knowledge of clouds.

Padlet allows users to collect information and pin it onto a virtual bulletin board. Videos, text, links and images can be dragged and dropped onto the board on virtual sticky notes.

This fifth grade Social Studies unit focuses on the life of the people living in North America before the European exploration in general, and on the life in the Woodlands region in specific. Google Apps for Education allows you to collaborate on documents, slide decks, and spreadsheets. It’s a great tool for having students work together on a presentation or a document where they each add their own thoughts.

Upload or take a picture and make it talk by overlaying a mouth on the photo and recording your voice to animate a video.
